RHA T20 in-ear headphone wins prestigious AEx and VGP awards for audio excellence

RHA is delighted to announce its flagship T20 in-ear headphone has been selected as a winner of the Japanese Audio Excellence (AEx) 2016 award in the Headphones category. Established in 1978, the AEx Awards reward innovation and excellence in the audio industry.

The T20 has also been awarded the Visual Grand Prix (VGP) 2016 Lifestyle Award. VGP is among the most sought-after and respected consumer electronics awards in Japan, with judging criteria including quality of product design, performance and technological innovation.

"We are hugely grateful to have the T20 named as a recipient of these two prestigious awards. Japan is an important market for RHA, with a large community of discerning consumers and audiophiles, so to be recognised by the AEx and VGP awards judging-panels is an honour,” said Lewis Heath, RHA Product Director.

Since its release in Summer 2015, RHA’s flagship T20 high resolution in-ear headphone has received widespread critical acclaim for its revolutionary DualCoilTM, driver technology and pioneering metal injection moulding (MIM) manufacturing method. In addition to the AEx and VGP awards, the T20 has been the recipient of a Red Dot Award for Design and Hi-Res Audio certification from Japan Audio Society.
