Be Transported To Los Angeles
At the start of June we introduced our new series where we tour some of the most exciting cities in the world. With the release of our new MA390 Wireless we’re celebrating individuality and adventure.
Following last month’s focus on London, this month we’re flying to one of the most famous, vibrant and culture-defining cities in the world - LA.
A trip to sunny Los Angeles means a visit to the road that carries the “history of Hollywood” – Mulholland Drive. Set aside a few hours to travel this iconic 21-mile road. Obviously, you’ll need a car – do it in true Hollywood style and head over to falconcarrental.com to pick a luxury ride for the journey. Choose from brands such as Bentley, Cadillac and Tesla and take your wheels for a spin amongst the rich and famous. Check out the spectacular views of the Los Angeles Basin and the San Fernando Valley, finishing at the famed Hollywood Sign for sunset.
LA Luxury Watches
After a trip along Mullholland Drive you’ll have a taste for the Hollywood lifestyle. Look no further than LA-based, self-taught teacher-turned-horologist, J.N. Shapiro. His Infinity Series watches have been turning heads as the first of their kind with a unique and extremely difficult pattern. The engine-turning of the dial is made by hand, and these timeless masterpieces - for men and women - look outstanding.
Being from Scotland, we’ll usually seek out a little taste of home wherever we are. This is where the whisky (not “whiskey”!) bar £10 - named after the Scottish currency - comes into play. One of LA’s hidden gems, £10 is where true connoisseurs head to taste one of the world’s favourite whiskies, The Macallan Single Malt - sourced from a globally celebrated distiller based in Speyside, Scotland. In this intimate atmosphere, you can sample some of the rarest Macallans – some aged for as long as 64 years. If whisky isn’t your thing, however, you can 'settle' for an expertly crafted cocktail from the award-winning menu.
Check back throughout July for interviews, playlist and recommendations from Los Angeles, California.
